What is the secret of happily married couples?

Are they are better matched, better looking, more in love, or maybe they're just more passionate?

No.

Do happily married couples have fewer differences or less to fight about?

No.

We now know that successful couples have the same number of disagreements as couples that get divorced.

It may surprise you to know that all couples disagree about the same issues: money, sex, housework, time, kids, and the in-laws.

What's the answer to this constant conflict about our differences?

The major advantage couples with successful marriages have is in how they handle their differences.

Successful couples learn why these issues crop up,

Successful couples learn skills to help them deal with the conflicts, and

Successful couples understand how to disagree with each other in a way that doesn't tear down the relationship but makes it stronger

The good news is that you, and your spouse, can get the education, learn the skills, and build the marriage you really want to have.
